Parry Sound High School Graduation
On Thursday, June 30th, I attended the Parry Sound High School Graduation Ceremonies.  On behalf of the Town, congratulations to all graduates and certainly best, sincere wishes in your future endeavours.  A few weeks ago Councillor Borneman remarked that he would catch himself the next time he thought about complaining about today's youth... that after witnessing the Bobby Orr Hosted Celebration of Youth in West Parry Sound Area as a result of the good works and ambition demonstrated by our youth.   I have to say that it was an honour to hear about the 'brain power' at the graduation ceremonies.  So many students making the Honour Roll and achieving Ontario Scholarship status.  Many awards were presented for various accomplishments.  We heard of a number of colleges and universities these students were destined for.  It was truly an inspiring event.
