Parry Sound Public Library Business
I am happy to take this opportunity to report on the status of the Parry Sound Public Library Curbside Service!  Rita Orr, our CEO, reports that in the last week, our first week, the program has been successful.  There were 45 people who came to pick up books taking out a total of 184.  The library received 62 phone calls and 25 e-mails regarding the Curbside Pick Up.  As late as today only, 17 people have attended for books taking out a total of 35.  The children are receiving a Craft-to-Go in a plastic zip lock bag when they pick up junior books.  We can take pride that our staff have been contacted by no less than 10 libraries have regarding our policies and their progress.  The staff produced a how-to video on how to reserve books online.  Please check out the video here:

Town of Parry Sound Coat of Arms Creation Ad-Hoc Committee Progress
I am happy to report that the Town of Parry Sound Coat of Arms Creation Ad-Hoc Committee is moving along with a design.  The public should know that this process is very formal, strict and stringent as to what and how can be included in the design.
