West Parry Sound District Museum Monthly Board Meeting
On Thursday evening, March 23, 2023 I attended the West Parry Sound District Museum Monthly Board Meeting via ZOOM.  It was a very short meeting in which we dealt with a variety of housekeeping matters.






Waterfront Advisory Committee Meeting
On Monday afternoon, March 27, 2023, with Councillor Keith, I attended the Waterfront Advisory Committee Meeting, in person, here in Council Chambers.  We were treated to a deputation by Georgian Bay Tours.  We learned more about what they do and the services provided.  They are hopeful we can work with them in the future for inclusion with waterfront marketing and imaging.  We had an update on dockside kiosks and an update on cruise ship visits this year.  The committee is hopeful that shuttle bus service to downtown and waterfront areas will be in place this year as we talked about the number of places, services and activities our cruise ship visitors can avail themselves to.  Gardening initiatives for this summer were discussed and finally we talked about an exhibit at the West Parry Sound District Museum on the Wreck of the Steamship Waubuno.


Parry Sound Town Council Budget Meeting (Operating Budget)
On Tuesday evening, March 28, 2023, I attended the Special Parry Sound Council Meeting to review the 2023 Operating Budget.
