Funeral Mass and Reception for Len Yauk
On Monday morning at 10:00, September 15, 2025 may wife and I attended the Funeral Mass and Reception for Len Yauk held at St. Peter's Church here in Parry Sound. It was wonderful to hear eulogies presented by various speakers. Both Len and Pearl came to Parry Sound in 1982 and very quickly became involved in various aspects of the community impacting nearly every resident and visitor whether by way of education, health care, community growth and service organizations. The Yauk family were so very grateful for the honour bestowed upon Len with the lowering of the Town flags on that day. Thank you to staff for this. As I reported at our last Council Meeting, he passed on August 12, 2005 at age 90.
